RFC2142 - Mailbox names for Common Services, Roles & Functions

One of the key activities when cleansing any email list is always to perform the obvious tasks.  RFC2142 outlines 'standards' for business, network, support and list administration mailbox naming conventions. Specifically:-
  • abuse
  • ftp
  • hostmaster
  • info
  • marketing
  • list
  • list-request
  • news
  • noc
  • postmaster
  • sales
  • security
  • support
  • uucp
  • usenet
  • webmaster
  • www
So we'll tag any email address that matches those accounts. In addition we apply the following filtering for what can be classified as 'role' email accounts:-
  • admin
  • all
  • billing
  • everyone
  • feedback
  • jobs
  • nobody
  • nospam
  • noreply
  • spam
  • subscribe
  • spam
  • tech
  • unsubscribe

.рф IDN ccTLD.
